Congratulations Ariel on your drawing and for using your artistic work to show the inside of our circulatory system and nice drawing really love the colorfulness coming out of it.
This week we didnt get to learn about science lately because of the pratice tests.But we did get to do a writing about ourself being a RBC(red blood cell).We were suppose to put what our life was like a RBC and where we were born.Also,put what are jobs where and how we provide help and do other things to be part of the bodies work.This is what we mostly did this week only.But im looking forward to learning more about the body later on this week.
What i have learned latley in science class is the function of the Circulatory System.The circulatory system is an organ system that passes nutrients,and lymph.The heart pumps oxygen blood to the body and deoxygenThe right atrium is the upper chamber of the right side of the heart. blood to the lungs. In the human heart there is one atrium and one ventricle for each circulation.The left atrium receives newly oxygenated blood from the lungs as well.The veins inside are blue not green.The blood cells are very very small,that what gives the blood red its color.The chemical that makes our blood liquid is called Plasma.With out plasma our blood would become thick.This is the only reason why our parents always tell us to drink water.Water produces the plasma inside of our body.We also have another cell inside of our body called White Blood Cells.White blood cells kills germs for example,if a germ enters the blood stream,the white blood cells would move towards the and dispose (kill) it.Our white blood cells only live up to 120 days,our red blood cells live up to a year,and our platatues live up to only 5 hours.Our heart beats up to 100,000 times a day.I am glade and honerd about learning about the circulatory system from my science teacher mr.rosado.I wish to learn more about the circulatory and the respratory system in high school.I wounder what will i learn from the next topic.
i have learned that excretory system is the most important system because waste should not be in our body. The red blood cell carries waste to the kidney. The waste in the kidney transfers the waste to the bladder where the waste in turn into #1 or #2. when you don't drink a lot of water your urine turns dark yellow. when one kidney fails the other kidney grow bigger to pick up more waste.
