What I ahsyana wright has learned inside of class was about the respiratory system and how it works. My question though is why do we always start with the womens body system instead of the boys body?
Ahsyana, normally we always start with both. The situation here is that it seems that all models or pictures presented seem like males, but let me clear this for you. All models and pictures we have been using to present the respiratory, circulatory, digestive (this week), excretory are mainly presenting a "FIGURE" that is not either 'male' nor 'female' It is a generalized 'HUMAN FIGURE' of no particular gender. Now when we start lessons on the endocrine and reproductive system, then we will use more gender representative figures and diagrams.
What I Ifeoma Nwasoma has learned inside of class is about the respiratory system and how it works. Something that I found really interesting in class about the respiratory system is how people confuse the terms breathing and respiration. Breathing and respiration are totally different. Breathing is the movement of the chest that brings air into the lungs and removes waste gases. The Respiratory system is made up of structures and organs that help move oxygen into the body through two openings in your nose called nostrils trap particles from the air. One question I Have about this situation is , why do people confuse these terms ?
whats up Mr Rosado i already know alot about the human body but i wouldn't mind learning some more.I would like to learn about the human muscle system, skeletal system, and the nervous system.I think many people would like this because it's an intresting subject.
